Information on info screens

Interview with Jeanette Bernholm, Office Assistant, Antvorskov Care Center, Slagelse Municipality

Screens create an overview for residents and visitors alike

Antvorskov Care Center has five information screens from Visiosign. The screens are used by the care center’s 60 residents and the many visitors.

The information screens are aimed at visitors, residents and guests. The screens replace traditional bulletin boards. A traditional notice board quickly becomes cluttered with notices, which is a problem. Distributed flyers with information for residents and relatives are not optimal either, as they often disappear.

"The screens provide information and remind both staff and residents at the care center of important information."

The screens work well for the elderly residents, as many of them have poor memory and thus have difficulty remembering the different events. The screens also work well for visitors, who can be sure to get the important information.

Images create recognition and conversation

Antvorskov Care Center is also very excited about the visual possibilities the screens give them. There are always beautiful seasonal images on the screens, which the elderly are happy about.

"Visual expression is important in a place like a care center. The images really help the elderly to remember what happened, but also act as a great after experience."

Therefore, pictures are also posted from the events that remind residents of pleasant moments. Residents stop by the screens to see pictures from events that have taken place. The images not only help start conversations between residents, but also between residents and visitors.
