Information screens are part of strategic communication in a global company
Arla has over 300 information screens in around 50 dairies and branch offices around the world. Visiosign’s screens are an important part of Arla’s communication strategy.

Information screens reach employees on the “floor”
The information screens are the primary channel for internal communication with employees on the ‘floor’ at Arla dairies. The screens are used for important information about daily operations: if a machine in production is down, if there is a visit from a foreign delegation or if there is cake in the canteen.
The screens have replaced the many printed notices that, for example, hung by the washbasin and instructed employees on hygiene and safety. The screens are a far better solution than the notices that had to be renewed, fell down and got dirty. The screens are quick to update and easily catch people’s attention.
Storytelling is important for employee engagement
Arla has conducted a major internal study that highlights the importance of storytelling across the large global organization. By sharing good news, it is possible to tell employees that they are making a difference.
