Efficient wayfinding in a busy healthcare center
Interview with: Charlotte Aagaard – Team Coordinator, Sundhedshuset Nørrebro.
Sundhedshuset Nørrebro is visited annually by 3,000 citizens in need of treatment and rehabilitation. Sundhedshuset Nørrebro uses Visiosign’s signage screens to guide citizens around the building to the right treatments.
Signpost screens for citizens
The building consists of five floors and training takes place on several of them. It is therefore important that citizens are directed to the correct rooms. As many of the classes change location every week, it used to be a jungle to get an overview.
Sundhedshuset Nørrebro therefore chose to use Visiosign’s wayfinding solutions.
Charlotte clearly sees how much the screens are used. Everyone stops in front of the screen to find out where they are going. It’s clear to see a positive effect that benefits both citizens, therapists and receptionists.
Visiosign screens provide an overview
The information screens installed in the canteen give employees an overview of which rooms they need to be in and they can follow their own schedule. At the same time, internal information and news from the region is displayed.
Collaboration with Visiosign
Charlotte appreciates the collaboration with Visiosign. Together with Visiosign, a design solution was developed that suited the Health Center’s specific needs. In this connection, several meetings were held where Visiosign prepared various ideas. The staff at the health center could see the proposals and easily decide which ones suited them.
Charlotte also mentions that Visiosign has been great at designing the content of the screens to match the colors already in the building – so it looks really good.
