Stock images now available for selected post types

You can now use stock images from Unsplash in your posts in the post types Image, Custom and Text & Image. This is an addition to previous versions where you could select images from either the file library or by directly uploading an image to a given post.

Note: The administrator can remove access to the use of Stock Images in Visiosign Cloud’s global settings, after which Stock images will not be available. Stock images are enabled by default.

With Stock images, buttons and functions have been added that are common wherever images are inserted in a post, regardless of the post type. When you click the button for Stock images, a window opens where you select the image. There is also a search box where you can enter one or more keywords to refine the search, and the window shows 10 results on each page.

Note: English words work best in the search bar.

Extensions (for administrators)

Visiosign Cloud has a new menu called Extensions.

Extensions can be created, read, updated and deleted here. Extensions make it possible to create a user interface that allows both administrators and editors to edit data on their own Visiosign Cloud domain, e.g. the list of employees on guest registrations, meeting summaries and more.

The Extensions menu reduces the need for coding and setup by Visiosign Cloud staff, but some time still needs to be allocated for such projects.

Here are the improvements:

A number of existing features in Visiosign Cloud have been improved. These include the following:

• Player Operations Report:
  • Now you can select a subset of players to be monitored by the report and do not need to be notified of all player operations.
  • The player description can be included in the report.
  • Both administrators and editors can still receive reports.
• Deselect captions on Image, Video and Gallery post types:
  • The administrator can now allow or disallow the option to add caption on the setting for a channel.
  • If you deselect the option for captions, this only affects future posts in the channel in question. If there are already posts with captions, these will not be affected by the change.
• Deselect audio on video posts:
  • The administrator can now allow or disallow the option to play video with audio on a channel setting. If there are already posts that play video with audio, these are not affected by the change.
• Direct click to the source of the image or video in posts:
  • On the page where posts are started (or edited), you could previously only see the file name of the file used in the post. This can now be clicked and takes the editor to the origin of the file in the file library, Windows or Stock images (Unsplash), making it easier to find the files in question.
• In addition:
  • The page where a channel is edited has been redesigned for clarity (for administrators).
